I ordered the Cuban Breakfast - slow roast pork, poached eggs, rice & beans, tostones and slaw. We also ordered a side of sweet plantains and donuts to finish. There was nothing left on my plate at the end.
Toronto was just ranked the best place to live in the world. One reason is our exploding food scene. It’s often hard to keep up with the constantly evolving and never ending list of local places to eat. La Cubana has been on my list for a few months and after yesterday’s epic brunch, it’s earned a permanent spot on my regular rotation. La Cubana’s chef truly took me to Cuba with his incredible creations. I don’t think I’ve ever scarfed down so much food, so fast. Pretty sure I set a new personal record.
